Overview

HealthHub is our new and improved version of the Content Health Library (CHL). If you’re a CHL client, we’ll be helping you move over to your enhanced solution — and are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for both you and your end users.

To minimize disruptions, we’ve set up a redirect that automatically points CHL URLs to the matching content in HealthHub. This allows users to navigate the same way they’re used to, while seamlessly transferring them to the HealthHub experience.

How it works

Each article in HealthHub and CHL has a unique identification number as part of the URL. WebMD Ignite maintains a cross-reference between CHL and HealthHub articles that contain the same content. So, when an end user visits a CHL URL, they’ll automatically be redirected to the corresponding HealthHub page, where they’ll find the same information in the new library.

For CHL pages that don’t have unique identification numbers (like landing pages), we’ve created a separate cross-reference to link them to similar pages in HealthHub. The same automatic redirect applies to these pages as well.

Redirect experience for end users

As noted, when an end user navigates to a CHL URL, they’ll land on the matching HealthHub page. HealthHub is built on our WebMD Ignite Digital Experience Engine (DXE) platform.  While the sites have some cosmetic differences, the health education presented  is the same trusted, triple-medically reviewed information.

HealthHub also has a more user-friendly layout for browsing, including Pillar and Cluster format for topics and immersive pages based on Pillar topics.

Migration experience for clients

You won’t need to make any changes during the move to HealthHub — all redirects will be handled automatically. Your end users will be introduced to the new, more user-friendly experience right away.

With HealthHub, you’ll also gain access to robust reporting to see what your users are most interested in, and you can create custom CTAs that appear where they’re most relevant. These tools provide greater insights and flexibility — helping you better engage health consumers and deliver dynamic digital experiences.
